Face recognition is one of the biometrics used to establish the identity of a person. It will help stop bad guys from coming into the country or taking a flight.

How did you become involved in this research?

I got interested in face recognition through a dissertation written by Prof. B.S. Manjunth of U.C. Santa Barbara, who was my Ph.D. student at USC.
