Dr. Jörg Kleeff

Dr.
Jörg Kleeff, who is
currently working at the European Pancreatic Cancer
Centre, Heidelberg, Germany, is a top-ranking molecular
scientist in our 10-year list of papers on pancreatic
cancer. His most-cited paper in this field, "The TGF-beta
signalling inhibitor Smad 7 enhances tumorigenicity in
pancreatic cancer" (Kleeff J, et al., Oncogene,
188: 5363-72, 1999) has 109 citations in our analysis of
pancreatic research over the past decade. In this
interview, he talks about his work on the factors

published in the past decade, Dr. Kern’s work ranks
at #3, with 78 qualifying papers cited a total of
5,859 times to date. Five of these papers are also
