Environmental
Health Perspectives, the peer-reviewed journal of the National
Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, is an important vehicle
for the dissemination of environmental health information and research
findings. EHP is read in over 190 countries. Electronic
submission and review are the norm for the more than 800 manuscripts
received each year. With a rejection rate of 80% only the best
articles are published. These articles are published within 24 hours
of acceptance on ehponline as EHP-in-Press articles and
are completely citable using the CrossRef DOI system.
EHP has an international
outreach program that includes complimentary subscriptions to
developing countries and a Chinese-language edition published
quarterly and distributed to 35,000 readers. In the journal's
continued commitment to the international community, the "In This
Issue" section is published on EHP's website in five
languages - Chinese, French, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish.
Open Access
Environmental Health
Perspectives [EHP] is now an open access journal - all
content is freely available to everyone online immediately after
publication.
The table, top papers,

Health Perspectives' publication and citation performance in
the field of Environment/Ecology over the
